Gary Black
Personal Mission Statement: My mission
is to inspire others to follow Christ, empower others to serve Christ,
enjoy life’s journey with Christ, and endure in faith till
I see Christ.
Gary Black was called to serve as preaching minister the first Sunday
of February in 1988. Gary is a 1971 graduate of Lincoln Christian
College and a 1977 graduate of Lincoln Christian Seminary. He has
served churches in Athens, Illinois (student youth ministry), Francesville,
Indiana (preaching ministry), Chapel Rock Christian Church in Indianapolis,
In. (youth ministry), and Clayton. Gary is married to Julie Alexander
of Kokomo, In. Gary and Julie have 4 children: Nathan (wife Nicole),
Joel, Bethany (husband Ben and daughter Sophia), and Haylie (student
at Milligan
College). |

Personal Mission Statement:
My mission is
to love God and others,
enjoy and create beauty, and spread hope to the world around me.
The paid staff of CCC has continued to grow as we
made our volunteer position of Director of Music and Arts a part
time paid position as of January 1, 2006 Julie Black has volunteered
in this role for many years. She has developed our music and arts
ministry to incorporate a multitude of people who are now serving
through these important mediums. She plays a vital role in the planning
and preparation of our Sunday morning services as well as assisting
with Student and Children’s music ministry when called upon
to do so. |
